And yeah, it was great, like we'd just chatted yesterday except we had a lot more news to catch up on.

Years ago I practically lived on the phone and would also spend hours and hours writing long newsy snailmail and email letters to people.

Nowadays I hate talking on the phone and prefer referring people to my blog if they want to know what I've been up to.

I don't care any less about my friends, it's just that other things (including being in a relationship) have changed the way I organise my time. If a *friend* can't understand that, then maybe they weren't really a friend after all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14141220.post-82493870464494151452007-06-12T08:52:00.000-07:002007-06-12T08:52:00.000-07:00@madyou'd probably find that you are still friends...@mad
you'd probably find that you are still friends -- you might need to spend a little extra time drinking beer together, but what's the problem there?!?

@raincoaster
she may, she may. I'm giving her a ocuple of months, then sending a long, chatty letter. Either she'll be utterly annoyed with my presumption and ignore me, or she'll call me up and we can fight it out (you know, one of those love/hate fights). We'll see.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06633401326479781405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14141220.post-11918446225081111442007-06-12T07:48:00.000-07:002007-06-12T07:48:00.000-07:00Friendships shouldn't have timers. Maybe that's why we haven't talked in two years.madhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052803138289084754noreply@blogger.com
