Snow!

It snowed last night.

How long has it been since I lived somewhere with its 4 incredibly distinct seasons? About 8 years...

Vancouver has 3 seasons...wet with moments of sunshine, cold and wet, and just wet. But now I'm back where summer is hot and dry, autumn is windy and cool, and in winter -- it snows! I'm going to actually need to find my winter boots.

It hasn't snowed here yet. As a matter of fact it was a balmy 16 degrees in Niagara today and I plan to keep it that way.

  5. It's snowing again here -- I got into the hot tub last night for a bit...it wasn't snowing at the time, but boy! was it nice.

I shoveled twice already today, and had to rummage around in the basement for my boots... supposed to get a total of 8 inches by tomorrow morning here in Penticton. Sheesh.
