For example: the caterer (a friend of a friend), the venue (a nice local spot), and the band (our favourite local group!)....

I bet, there are too much details to take care of in a wedding! Try to make it an enjoyable experience. :)
How many guests will you be expecting?
We're hoping to keep it down to 60 people...but it's difficult. Family has to be invited, friends you want to invite...
Anyway -- I enjoy the planning, it's what I do in my work. I've got someone to hand it off to on the day, so I don't have to worry about any details!
