The Omnivore's 100

Ripped shamelessly from casa az: yet another list...

So, you know the drill:
"Copy the following list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
Cross out any items that you would never consider eating."

I've had 75 out of the 100. I've noticed that a lot of interesting things aren't there -- like 100-year-old eggs, geoduck, live octopus, or bo-shin-tang (dog stew). I've not had live octopus, but I have had live sushi.

Well, you've got me beat. I really want to try clam chowder in a sourdough bowl and Tom Yum.

Actually, az, that one did surprise me -- what? No clam chowder in a sourdough bowl? Ever, really?

:-)

There's also about 5 bits of utter junk food on the list which I noticed you crossed out...which I obviously have indulged in.

I've had plenty of clam chowder but the sourdough bowl thing must have become popular after I left Canada. I'd never heard of it before.

Yeah, that kind of crap junk food just isn't worth the calories to me.
